Marriage to a U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
Service fee: $1900

If you are married to a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident, we can assist you with your U.S. immigration case. Marriage is a significant milestone in your life, and we ensure that your case of marriage to a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident is handled professionally and confidentially.

We will guide you throughout the process of obtaining your conditional/permanent resident status and U.S. citizenship, and later help you
sponsor your close relative(s). Obtaining your conditional or permanent resident status is the first and crucial step. Later, you will need to apply for your permanent resident card / U.S. citizenship.

Note: The US immigration process for same-sex couples for a US marriage is no different than for any other marriage between a man and a woman. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services does not legally recognize cohabitation; therefore, legally, same-sex couples must also marry in a state where the jurisdiction of that state recognizes the marriage of same-sex couples. Currently, same-sex marriage is legal and accepted in these US states: https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/same-sex-marriage-states.

To initiate the process, please send us the documents listed below via email, and we'll confirm receipt of your email. Please note that any documents not in English will require translation. Once we receive your application, we will process it quickly and complete your case within a few days.

Additional information
(1) To begin the green card process, you need to prove to the U.S. government that your marriage is legitimate. The U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident spouse has to file a Petition for Alien Relative with U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS), along with evidence that proves the authenticity of the relationship. The following evidence is required by the government to prove that the marriage is legitimate:

i. Proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residence, including proof of legal marriage to a foreign national spouse, a copy of the marriage certificate, and proof that both spouses have legally terminated all prior marriages.

ii. Documentation showing that the marriage is bona fide, such as proof of joint ownership of property, a lease showing joint tenancy of a residence, documentation showing the combination of financial resources, birth certificates of children born to you and your spouse, affidavits from family and friends with knowledge of the legitimate nature of your relationship, and any other relevant documentation that establishes the existence of an ongoing marital union.

(2) After USCIS approves your Petition for Alien Relative application and establishes the authenticity of your relationship, you must still request the government to create and provide your green card. There are two ways to do this:

i.
Adjustment of Status: This alternative is only available if your foreign national spouse is currently in the United States. Once the petition is filed, your spouse can't leave the U.S. until the employment authorization and advance parole application are approved.

ii.
Immigrant Visa (Consular) Processing: Immigrant visa processing begins after your Petition for Alien Relative is approved, and it includes submitting an application to the National Visa Center (NVC) and attending an in-person interview at the relevant U.S. embassy or consulate abroad. After a successful interview, your foreign national spouse will get an immigrant visa, which will be used to enter the United States as a permanent resident.
